News|Taupo Body Art Festival held this monthThe three-day interactive event kicks off on Friday January 27th with workshops, a UV speed painting competition and a UV paint dance party. Festivities then continue for the next two days, with more workshops and demonstrations being held at Taupo's Great Lakes Centre. Most of the action will take place on Sunday January 29th, when people will have the opportunity to be adorned with glitter tattoos and face paint, as well as try their hand and mask or kite-making. Additionally, there will be competitions to find the visitors with the best masks or face decorations. Workshops are organised by Waituhi Academy and they are open to attendees of all ages with no previous experience necessary.
