Millennium Hotel & Resort Manuels, Taupo will officially reopen its doors on Saturday 14 November 2009, after 5 months of significant reconstruction work.  Currently the hotel is partially trading with a limited number of guest rooms available for reservations.

Millennium Hotel & Resort Manuels, Taupo General Manager Diane Kerins is thrilled with the combined effort to rebuild the property saying “we look forward to reopening a truly magnificent hotel that we can all be proud of.  The hotel features new furnishings, décor and a fabulous art collection.  I am sure that our new look is bound to delight locals and international travelers alike.”

Both Hotel restaurants will be open from Labour Weekend onwards.  The Hotel offers Edgewater for sophisticated a la carte dining from 6:30pm daily. Edgewater is preceded only by its reputation for fine cuisine, service and location, and will feature a new menu by Chef Glen Sando.  Edgewater is complimented by the newly designed Beach Brasserie and Bar, situated on the waters edge.  The Brasserie provides a more relaxed lakeside dining experience for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply to enjoy a barista coffee.

All Conference Venues will be fully operational by mid November 2009.  Onsite conference facilities range from a boardroom configuration for up to 20 guests to an elegant cocktail party for up to 190.
