Constructed using minimal excavation, the course extends 6388 metres measured from the championship tees. It has been created from the most breathtaking features of the area, incorporating dramatic rock outcrops, tussock grasslands, sections of native bush and steep bluffs.

The handsome Clubhouse, located on the shores of Lake Tewa is one of the highlights of the venue. It contains a bar, restaurant, golf shop and deli within an unpretentious but undeniably attractive building. The building’s architecture is said to be derived from the local architectural motifs, including design elements from local farm buildings.
