Fiordland has achieved 'World Heritage Status' and is a 'must see' region, located in the lower South Island of New Zealand. The area is rich with history, breath-taking scenery and has a wide range of visitor activities. Apart from Mitre Peak, Lake Manapouri, and Milford & Doubtful Sounds, there are many great walks in the region including the Milford, Routeburn and Kepler tracks.

Milford Sound
Milford Sound is a famous New Zealand natural attraction and most accessible of the grand glacially formed Fiords.

Stunning mountain peaks and hanging valleys provide ample photo opportunities, and is just a two hour twenty minute drive from Te Anau. Enjoy a boat trip to see playful dolphins and seals, visit the Milford Deep Underwater Observatory in Harrison Cove, some guided diving, kayaking, an overnight cruise or simply visit and take in the views.

Fiordland Cinema

The Cinema was specially constructed to house regular screenings of the locally filmed movie "Ata Whenua" - Shadowland.
