NRG Rising will be playing a very special gig next week and people staying in Hamilton hotels have been urged to go along.

The band will be shooting footage for their first ever music video at the show, which will be held at Attitude Bar on January 13th, the band stated on a post on Eventfinder.co.nz.

"We really want you to be in it too," they remarked. "Calling all family, friends, raving fans, randoms, people in HTown on this date for holidays, anyone interested in coming just for a jack nohi - you are all welcome."

The video is for NRG Rising's track From Darkness to Light and the group plan to confirm at least one supporting act so people can get plenty of value for the NZ$5 (£2.53) fee they are asked to pay on the door.

Among the four members of the band are bass and rhythm guitar player Bevin Hira, known as Brother Truce, Trinty 'TNT' Blake on drums, Selwyn 'Bro Selz' Shaw playing keyboard and guitarist Te Rori 'Squid' Hayward.
