Those heading to watch a basketball game at the Vector Arena next month may want to sort out a suitable Auckland hotel before the festive season gets into full swing.

The match in question is due to take place on January 27th 2012 between the SKYCITY New Zealand Breakers and the Sydney Kings.

It is the third game of three scheduled to take place at the venue as part of the iiNet Champioship.

Tickets range in price from $15 for a "bronze" concession to $50 for a platinum pass. Credit card and handling fees apply.

General manager of the Breakers Richard Clarke said the three games played at the Vector Arena give the team the chance to really consider the site as a "home court".

"If we have the opportunity to host games at the arena during playoffs then we will certainly be looking at that option," he added.

The team is currently top of the National Basketball League championship ladder for 2011-12, ahead of the Perth Wildcats and the Townsville Crocodiles.
