The orchestra will be conducted by Perry So, with soprano Jenny Wollerman singing The Floating Bride, The Crimson Village. The year of the dragon will also be welcomed in by soloist John Chen, who will be playing piano in Xinghai's Yellow River cantata. Another event that might interest holidaymakers is the Laughing Samoans comedy act at The Civic on February 18th. The comedy duo - Tofiga Fepuleai and Eteuati - have toured Australia, New Zealand, the US and the Pacific and could well be worth checking out.
