The Tora Tora Tora Music Festival may attract people to Wairarapa hotels when it is held this weekend.

On Saturday (February 4th), the event will begin at 10:00 local time on the coast at the Tora Farm Settlement Road in Martinborough.

Artists on the line-up include Brockaflowersaurus-Rex, the Claire Terry Trio, Vanessa, The Spines, The Lamb Hunters and Red Dog Saloon Band.

The festival continues throughout the Waitanga Weekend until 01:00 local time on Monday February 6th.

It was explained on Destination Wairarapa that the "ethos" of the festival "is creating awareness of the environment and love for families and friends".

This could be the ideal holiday for families, as children under the age of 16 can get in free, although it is necessary for visitors to bring everything they will need as the organisers cannot provide anything more than toilets and water and the closest shops are 50 km away.

Also stopping in Wairarapa this weekend is the More FM Summer Vineyard Tour, offering another opportunity for music fans to see live music.
