National Drinking Water Conference - December 2011
I just wanted to thank your team for helping to make our drinking water assessor conference a
success. Everything was made incredibly easy. All the feedback from the attendees has been that the
venue was great. The staff were all helpful, and the rooms and conference facilities were both well
received. The food in particular was very good, and certainly exceeded everyone's expectations.
Your assistance with setting up the dinner at Murdoch James was also appreciated. I would gladly
recommend your venue to anyone looking for facilities in the area.

Your staff were amazing – from the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful mobilizing
people to help with boxes and bags, to the young man who gave me assistance when I left. The food
was just amazing and was remarked upon by many, as was the service. And my special thanks to Wendy,
who did a wonderful job of coordinating everything. Hopefully this is the first of many such

"I just wanted to take this opportunity to give you some feedback about my team’s stay/retreat
last week. I found the service by yourself and other staff whose names I remember: Maree, Wendy,
Rebecca (bar), the I.T guy, Emily (dining room) excellent! It was so good having such strong
service supporting our retreat so that the discussions and workshops we held were unfettered by
worrying about logistical things – thank you. Thank you all.
The facility was also excellent. You set the boardroom up with everything we needed, the
breakout facilities were top class and the rooms were very comfortable – all of which contributed
to such a successful retreat for my management team and I.
Lastly, the food and wine was delicious! Every meal we ordered we thought was superb. In
fact, it appeared to us that nothing we asked for was too much trouble and we felt catered for in a
way that surpassed our expectations.
For the reasons I have outlined above I shall indeed recommend to other Chief Executives
with whom I have contact that Copthorne Solway Park is the ONLY place to hold a management retreat.
Furthermore, I shall bring my management team back to Copthorne Solway Park for any future retreats
