Directions

By Car:  The motorway flows into Wellington city and is well sign posted for directions to Oriental Bay. Copthorne Hotel Wellington Oriental Bay is a prominent building at the start of Oriental Parade approaching from the North. Noteable landmarks are the Te Papa Muesem and waterfront.

By Rail: Wellington Rail Station is 1.5km from the Hotel, both metro trains and national lines arrive and depart from here. This is also the Bus Station for intercity passengers. A taxi from the train station costs approximately NZ$10 - NZ$15.

By Air: Wellington Airport has many domestic flights daily from all the major carriers in New Zealand. The Airport is 8 kms from the hotel. There is a taxi stand immediately at the front entrance of the Terminal. Alternatively street maps available at Airport Visitor Information Centre should you be driving. All major Rental Car Companies have a service from the airport. Taxi from the Airport costs approximately NZ$25 - NZ$30.

By Sea: The Interisland Line carries rail, car and passengers, operates daily sailings between the North and South Island. The South Island port is Picton and Wellington is the North Island port. Easy drive from the ferry terminal to the hotel and the route is well sign posted. Taxi cost approx NZ$25-NZ$30.
