All Ticketmaster outlets will open for purchases at the same time two days later. Fans will know that the electronic/rock outfit began life as Joy Division in the late 1970s. The band was hit by tragedy when lead singer Ian Curtis committed suicide and it was in 1980 that New Order formed from the remnants of Joy Division. To date, Blue Monday remains the biggest-selling 12-inch single of all time. Of course, the Vector Arena is regularly home to some of the highest-profile gigs in the southern hemisphere.
