Music lovers might find a stay in an Auckland hotel is the perfect choice to allow them to catch a performance from American singer Madeline Peyroux.

She is set to take to the stage in the Great Hall, Auckland Town Hall on March 6th next year, which could leave people with plenty of time to organise a trip.

Fans of the artist will be able to enjoy her playing a selection of songs, including some from her most recent album Standing On The Rooftop, which was released earlier this year, as well as those from previous LPs 2006's Half The Perfect World and 2004's Careless Love.

Attendees will also have the chance to see local musician Whirimako Black who will be supporting on the night.

Those who would prefer something  a little different may prefer to catch Trailer Park Boys in action as they hit the same venue on March 23rd.
