Doors open at 13:00 local time on February 25th and guests can relax in the 50 gazebos being set up for the festival, which will be accompanied by a competition marquee, stage and water sculpture from world-renowned sculptor Chris Booth, a resident of Kerikeri. Among the acts performing during the course of the day are local jazz band Thelonious Punk, as well as singer-songwriter Taylah Barker. Tourists heading to the area are advised to bring sunscreen and a hat to the event to protect them from the heat, but have been warned that it will go ahead even if the weather is less favourable.
