Copthorne Hotel Auckland, Anzac Avenue is changing name. As of 1 October 2009, the hotel will be known as Copthorne Hotel Auckland City. The Hotel has been awarded a 4 Star accreditation and Enviro Silver endorsement for responsible tourism practices by Qualmark. Qualmark is New Zealand tourism’s official, independent quality agency. 

Copthorne Hotel Auckland City’s Hotel Manager Katie Scholes is delighted by the changes, saying “ The new name better identifies the hotel as a centrally located 4 Star CBD property and this will be particularly helpful to our guests arriving from outside of Auckland.”
